Summer Camp

The Department organizes Summer Camp each year during the start of the summer holiday for their students with an aim of improving and enhancing students' self confidence and team working skills. This year, the camp was held on 4 - 6 June 2004 at HKFYG Jockey Club Sai Kung Outdoor Training Camp with 40 participating students. At the start of the camp, we invited Mr Jimmy Lai, the Chairman & CEO of NextMedia Group to deliver a speech which was about sharing his successful stories with the students. We also invited a professional training company to lead the experiential training session throughout the first two days of the camp. Through games, individual and group exercises together with case studies sharing sessions, participating students were benefited by understanding the importance of having the right and positive attitudes in facing difficulties and hence being able to set clearer directions on their tertiary studies.
