The Chinese Management Research Centre (RCCM) was renamed The Office for Chinese Management Development (the Office) in July 2002 and the Unit for Chinese Management Development (the Unit) again in February 2006.

The Unit is set up to study the unique ways ethnic Chinese manage their firms and enterprises. Target at high impact studies, the Unit¡¦s mission is to assume a leading role for the advancement of scholarship in Chinese management in the world.

Inter-university teams of experienced researchers are actively pursuing following three major research programmes. Results of the studies are disseminated through the Unit¡¦s research papers, research workshops and academic conferences. The Unit is linked to similar research institutions in the world.
